advantages and disadvantages of social stratification in ancient egypt

There are advantages and disadvantages of social stratification in ancient Egypt. Social stratification refers to the hierarchical arrangement of individuals into dimensions of power and wealth w/in a society. The advantage of the social stratification is that there is organization and order in the people. For Max Weber, social class pertaining broadly to material wealth is distinguished from status class based on honor, prestige, religious affiliation and so on. Ancient Egypt's kingdom is powerful and stable because of the order brought by the social stratification. The Pharaoh had great power because of the relations established w/ people w/ high social class. With social stratification, there is class, status and power. class- is a person's economic position in the society. The economic growth of ancient Egypt are on the people w/ high social class, status- is a person's prestige,
social honor or popularity in a society. Though they have economic worth, a person status could cause influences to other people in the society. respect and reputation could be earned w/ status, Power- a person's ability to get their way despite the resistance of others. People could implement rules or laws w/ power. commands and requests could be made w/ power. The disadvantages of Social stratification is that in spite of it's good benefits, there is inequality and abuse to the people who belongs to the lower social class. Some tasks are done w/ forced labor such as building a pyramid, w/c is a large structure that only serves as a royal tomb.
there is an unequal treatment between the high and low class.

bloggin' 'bout d rain (again!!!!)

I forgot what to blog from d assignment/project so, I'll blog about the rain (again). The weather is very tricky and playful. This afternoon, I accompanied my grandma to visiting my deceased grandpa at Forest park cemetery. It was very hot that time and I sweated a lot! After that, I went out to go to the computer shop (to blog this). I know that the rain is very tricky and playful so I brought my umbrella. I thought that it won't rained that hard but it did! Even I have an umbrella, I didn't manage not to get wet. raining hard, flooding, wet clothes and rushing to the computer shop.
It was so hot, then so cold. Very confusing and disturbing!!!!!!!!!!

Tell me your friends and i will tell you who you are

Friendship

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Value that is found in frien

dships is often the result of a friend

demonstrating the following on a consistent basis:

  • others to speak the truth, especially in terms of pointing out

In a comparison of personal relationships, friendship is considered to be closer than association, although there is a

range of degrees of intimacy in both friendships and associations. Friendship and association can be thought of as

spanning across the same continuum. The study of friendship is included in sociology, social psychology,

anthropology, philosophy, and zoology. Various theories of friendship have been proposed, among which are

social exchange theory, equity theory, relational dialectics, and attachment styles.

Based on Wikipedia, Friends make a great impact in our lives. Our friends are very influential to us. We share secrets

w/ them, We bond w/ them together, We consult to them for advice and sometimes, We even believe their advice

that

those of our parents even the friends advice is not good. Look at the picture, you could see a teenage girl who is

smoking and drinking. she has been influenced by friends to try to drink and smoke. She will later on develop the habit

of drinking and smoking. Her lifestyle was changed by her friends. It just shows that our friends ,could somehow,

predict our future someday. ''birds of the same feather flocks together'' If you want a bad future someday, hang out w/

a bad company. if you want a better and brighter future, hang out w/ the good company. We need to choose the right

friends. I'm not saying that you could only befriend good and nice people, of course we could have an unlimited circle

of friends. We can't avoid making new friends, It is part of our system, It is a social part of us.we just have to be careful

if we get bad influences from them. we could bond w/ them but not when it comes to bad things. We could give them

good influences and we could be the one who changes who they are. We should be careful in our attitude towards

friends and we must choose the right friends because it will deeply affect our life.

me as a campaign manager????

Why did you pick me as campaign manager? They answered: Because your a good speaker and you make people laugh. Their description of campaign manager is very different than the usual campaign manager who really ''manages'' because the goal was only introduce the candidates and add some comedy, Nothing more, nothing less. I wonder why they call it campaign manager, Why not campaign clown or campaign jester????. Their first choice was Allen who disagrees to join although he was perfect for the job. I was surprised that they chose me because For the past 2 school years, I'm just an ordinary student/voter. I listen as they discuss their platforms and I even always jokingly say that I will use their campaign paraphernalia as ''panggatong'' ( maybe that's the reason they chose me, Oh no!!!!!) Oh well! I think I'm still lucky because I was only a campaign manager and not a candidate(Thank you for not nominating me as class officer!). If I was, It would be a big responsibility.

Good luck to the candidates! May you fulfill your platforms and promises and not just collect fines, May you strictly implement the rules and regulations including the officers themselves.
